Bowring Institute Open Scrabble Tournament

The Bowring Institute along with the Bangalore Scrabble Association is conducting an open scrabble tournament on April 12th and 13th at the Bowring Institute, St. Mark’s Road. Here are the details

The Bowring Institute in association with Bangalore Scrabble Club is conducting an Open Scrabble Tournament in Bangalore on April 12 and 13, 2008 at the Bowring Institute, St.Mark’s Road.

There will be a separate division for beginners – Amateur Division on April 13. Registration is at 9.30 am and the three-game tourney starts from 10.30 am. Children under the age of 11 can participate in a special one-game competition also on April 13 at 10.30 am.

Competition for the Advance Division begins on April 12 for players who play in national level tournaments. 18 games will be played over the two days.
Registration fees : Rs.100 for Advanced and Rs.50 for Amateurs.

The word source for the tournament will be the new Collins Scrabble Tournament list.
