Anil Singh here in the picture displays his Gold medal , which he won at the 2nd All Star Asian Athletic Championships being held in Bhopal. This Athletic meet is being held in Bhopal in association with Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Department and MP Amateur Athletics Association.
There is another feather to Anil’s Cap. In his winning effort , he crossed a milestone of 80 m and has become the first Indian to cross 80m in Javelin Throw. He broke the National Record which has been holding for a decade now. The earlier record was in the name of Satbir Singh at 79.68 m which was set in 1998.
